The collection looks to the ambiguity present in the photographs of Carlo Mollino, Araki and Warhol’s Screen Tests, as well as the geometric structures of Joe Bradley’s canvases. Tiffany Tuttle - LD Tuttle’s namesake has inspired us since surfacing in 2005. Tuttle’s love of art stems from years of dedication to the ballet, where she danced professionally until the age of 20. After attaining a degree from Princeton, her ambition and desire led her to FIT in New York. Following her studies, she worked at Givenchy during the Alexander McQueen period. Milan’s Ars Sutoria school of footwear model design is where Tuttle sought out her unfeigned desire to design shoes.
Currently LA based, all of Tuttle’s designs are crafted in Milan with fine Napa leather. LD Tuttle is our most directional line here at Lambs Ear, and we are proud of each special piece we carry.
